Trishuli River Rafting

Trishuli is named after Lord Shiva’s trident. A legend say that the God Shiva had drove his trident to create three springs –the source of the river and hence its name Trisuli.

 

Trishuli River Rafting is graded to an easy rafting which includes small gorges but exciting for rafters. It is one the most popular rafting river in Nepal due to close proximity to Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara. It is favorable for the short timer so even the trekkers like to join for rafting for 1 or 2 days after the trek or before the trek. The lush green scenery, observation of some flora and fauna, impressive gorges and exciting rapids add more and more fun in rafting. In fact, the rafting is this river is not risky as absence of high rapids. However, the intensity of the rapids increases during the monsoon season and attracts a radically different set of rafters.

 

We offer trip for 1-3 days on Trishuli River distance 20–60 km., starting from Baireni (approximately 2:30 hr.) and take out on the way of before Narayanghat and for day or 2-day rafting trip we start from Charaudi (2:30 to 3 hour) during pre-monsoon and post monsoon season. In monsoon season, usually we start trips from Fishling (3 to 3:30 hour) and after end the rafting trip is accessible to continue your journey to Pokhara (approx. 4 hr.) or Chitwan National Park (approx. 1:30 hr.) or you may drive back to Kathmandu (approx 4:30 – 5 hr.). On requirement of clients, we also arrange private transportation or Tourist bus to the put-in point and from the take out point at the end of trip.

Equipments and Services we provide for the trip

Best quality self-bailing inflatable raft, Whitewater safety helmet, modern plastic paddle, neoprene-wetsuit, PFD-lifejacket, Dry top Jacket, Waterproof Container/Barrel for camera and valuables things, Dry bag, First-Aid Kits and Tents/mass fly sheet and sleeping mat, other necessary camping gear cooking utensils, hygienically prepared food and drinks.

 

Things you need to bring for the trip

River wear gear: shorts- half pant, T-shirts (long sleep for sun protection), swim wear, Sun Cap/Glass/Cream, personal water bottle, a pair of river sandals.

For camping: Personal sleeping bag, lightweight shirts, Trouser/pant, under garments socks, a towel, light shoe, Fleece type pullover, flash light, personal toiletries, camera, reading and writing materials, medicine.
